Ecosystem & Community

The DVGE ecosystem relies on a clear taxonomy. Under the Manifest architecture, there are now three distinct layers:

  1. Templates: Final, ready-to-render motion graphic animations (Overlays, Lower Thirds, Stingers). Ideal for immediate use by video editors and broadcasters.
  2. Tools: Development assistance tools and internal utilities.
  3. Extensions: Deep modules that expand the core capabilities of the rendering engine.

The official catalog is a public repository where all code is open source (MIT) and auditable. Currently, it features plugins developed by the engine’s author, and it is open to external contributions via Pull Requests.

DVGE is your platform; you decide how to monetize your work.

Agencies, freelancers, and creators are 100% free to create, obfuscate, and sell their own Templates and Extensions externally or privately. There are no artificial restrictions or vendor lock-in on what you develop on top of our technology.

The central gathering place is the GitHub Discussions of the main engine repository. We use it as a forum to:

  • Showcase: Share your broadcast templates and custom plugins.
  • Ideas: Propose new features for the rendering engine.
  • Support: Get technical help and debug plugin issues with other developers.
